TMC Colombo, would soon begin with its program ‘An Evening with Business Leaders’ in a few weeks’ time no sooner the pandemic eases. This series promotes interaction between members, their colleagues and guests and well-known, prominent business and professional personalities who have made a mark in their professions and gained wide local and international reach.

As interactive sessions, members and guests would be privy to the secrets of business and professional success and would have a rare opportunity of not only meeting such personalities, but interacting in Q&A sessions, whilst also indulging in fellowship, camaraderie and networking.

TMC was founded over 19 years ago, to provide a platform for professional managers and entrepreneurs to meet with others of similar stature from varied business disciplines. The membership of TMC today consists of those holding positions of mid to top management and leaders in finance, banking, logistics, healthcare, hospitality and a multitude of other industries.

Networking with those not in your own sphere has provided rare opportunities for members and guests to meet those they would not normally do, gain valuable links and widen their knowledge. Working under three themes – Knowledge Development, Management Development and Social Development, the Board of Management believes that educative networking has been the star factor in keeping their membership linked and active.

TMC Clubs are located in certain key towns to enable those from areas further from Colombo to enjoy a TMC membership. The Clubs are scattered in several towns – at present Colombo, Mt.  Lavinia, Wattala, Kalutara, Moratuwa and Negombo. These clubs are based in well-known hotels and resorts which offer generous discounts (for members only) at all outlets of these hotels; (Including for member families). Members could utilise the business areas for their official and private meetings, workshops, etc. using their TMC membership card to gain discounts as much as 20%.

If members were to travel out of Colombo, their TMC membership card serves as a passport to relax at its club’s host hotels and use the discounts to their benefit. They could also interact with managers from those areas to their benefit. TMC continuously enhances the benefits structure for its members by joining with vendors offering various products and services at concession, thus a TMC membership assures not only professional development but cost savings.
