TMC Board of Management Vice President Kaushal Rajapakse 


 

Kaushal Rajapakse, Vice President of the Board of Management of The Management Club, was recently elected President of the SL branch of The Chartered Management Institute UK for the year 20/21. He takes over the reins of leadership from the very dynamic leader and immediate Past President of The Management Club Murali Prakash, who provided yeoman services as its Exco Member and President.

Indhra Kaushal Rajapaksa is a Fellow of the Plastics and Rubber Institute and an Associate member of the Association of Business Executives UK holding a MBA in Business Management. He is the current President of Plastics and Rubber Institute, President of Chartered Management Institute, Vice President of Confederation of Small and Medium Industries (COSMI), Member of the Management Committee of National Chamber of Exporters, Executive Committee Member of SLAMERP, Executive Committee Member of Institute of Environment Professionals (IEPSL) and Chairman of Minuwangoda Industrial Association. He is also an executive committee member of Singapore, China and Pakistan business councils. He is also a member of the Advisory Committee of Ministry of Industries for the rubber product manufacturing sector.

Kaushal possesses wealth of experience in private sector working for the tyre industry, footwear industry and for Government Sector at the Task Force for Rebuilding the Nation handling rehabilitation of livelihood of the people affected by Tsunami in 2004. Since 2007 Kaushal is into his own business namely Kalhari Group of companies of exporting industrial waste rubber, plastics, etc. Kaushal is also into leisure boat chartering and building industry serving as the Board Director of Building a Future Foundation and Sail Lanka Yachting Group.

Currently Kaushal is functioning as the First Vice district Governor of lions District 306B2.
