It is with great pride that TMC congratulates our very own Kumar Sangakkara for bringing this unique honour to Sri Lanka by being named the President of MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club). Kumar becomes the very first ‘non-British’ individual to head this prestigious Cricket Club.

Kumar Sangakkara

Kumar has been recognised internationally for his remarkable performance on the cricket field, and equally recognised for his excellent oratorical skills. Kumar has gained immense recognition in many other fields too, to name a few, speech and commentary, entrepreneurship, and indeed social and charitable involvements. He has become a true legend in Sri Lanka, idolised by so many around the world.
