ACCA expands reach of Approved Learning Partners despite challenging times

The qualifications and skill set that the ACCA qualification possess has an attractive aura that has been luring corporations around the globe to acquire talent of ACCA qualified professional to drive their organisations forward over the last decade.

ACCA’s presence in Sri Lanka has been rapidly expanding along with a growing demand for its qualification. As a forward thinking accountancy body, ACCA has now taken steps to ensure that challenging times such as the current pandemic will not hamper the opportunities offered to local students to study for their globally accredited qualification.

As such, ACCA has been looking to extend its reach of Approved Learning Partners network and recently awarded the Silver Approved Learning Partner status to Premier Partners, which became ACCA’s newest learning provider, and will now be featured on ACCA’s Tuition Provider directory which students around the globe will have access to when deciding where to get their accountancy qualification.Giving an insight into this initiative ACCA Sri Lanka Head Nilusha Ranasinghe stated: “As interest in our qualification grows, along with the growing need for qualified business and finance leaders who are well-versed in finance, management, strategy, corporate governance, and ethics, we at ACCA are keen to ensure that we do not in any way curtail the accessibility of our qualification even during challenging market conditions. Whilst the safety of our students are paramount, our aim is also to see that they receive the knowledge and training they require to pursue their careers of choice in the finance industry without any disruption. We are very stringent in our selection of approved leaning providers who have to adhere to certain standards of quality in terms of the delivery of the qualification as well as in the current context the safety measures they take in their premises. Premier Partners have met all of these criteria’s and we are confident they will uphold the values of ACCA expected of all our approved leaning providers.”
