Street food and Classic cars on show in Matara this weekend

Lovers of classic cars, street food, beer and cocktails are in for a treat when they stroll down Dutchman’s Street, within the Dutch Fort in Matara on 26 and 27 September. The Dutchman's street will be open from 10.30 am to 10.30 pm, on both days.

Over 20 cherished collected classic cars of Matara, including the 1934 Austin Seven Saloon (747cc), 1934 Austin Seven PD tourer (747cc), 1943 Ford gpw (2.2 litre), 1949 Ford Mercury Eight (4185cc), 1949 Austin Sheerline A125 (3995cc), 1950 Ford Anglia (933cc), 1950 Mercedes Benz W136 (1697cc), 1954 Rover 76 P4 (2230cc), 1955 MG-A Roadster Mark II (1622cc), 1955 MG Magnet ZA (1500cc) and 1955 Arial Colt 200 will be on display.

In addition to the classic cars, street food and cocktails – you can contribute to the Blissful Minds charity by trying your hand at games of skill.
