Shop Til You Drop kicks off festive season!

Shop Til You Drop was a resounding success with a steady flow of enthusiastic shoppers coming in from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., come rain or shine! A unique experience was offered with exciting demos and activities throughout the day. 

Young entrepreneurs from the ages 6 to 14 from Monstrous Slime conducted a hands-on workshop which was very popular with all age groups! This was followed by a cookie art decoration workshop by Sweet Heavens which equally drew the crowds for some art therapy.

Ladies were shown some quick and easy ways to drape their sarees different ways. There were also quick hair tips for working women demonstrated by Cosmetics.lk.

Interesting discussions were delivered by health and wellness consultants on Healthy Eyes and Emotional Detox.

With over 60 luxury brands under one roof, there seemed to be something for everyone. There were many special features such as Intuitive Readings (tarot cards), discovering the alignment of your stars for a milestone date and a meet and greet session with cartoon character Obelix. When you shopped till you dropped, you had the option of having a rejuvenating massage before you headed. 

“This certainly kicked off the early shopping for the festive season. We were very happy to achieve our goals for helping the businesses bounce back. A few vendors even sold out of the items they brought! So, all in all, a good day for all our vendors,” says Colombo VIP Nights Event Producer Latika Alok.
