Pedals – Authentic Handloom Footwear, a startup aimed to produce quintessential Sri Lankan sustainable handmade shoes, heart crafted with intricate detailing, to showcase to the global footwear scene what we as a small nation are capable of.

Predominantly made using Fair Trade approved cotton handloom and jute, Pedals carefully handcrafts every pair of shoe thus limiting it to 100 pairs in a specific design restricted to a specific country to give its customers a taste of exclusivity. 

After setting foot into the Good Market at the Colombo Race Course two years ago, the brand has managed to tick some milestones on the way. Currently selling locally at The Design Collective – Stratford Avenue, Pedals also has its international presence in The Maldives, Malaysia and Singapore. 

In celebration of their achievements, Pedals has launched their ‘Shelf’ concept which aims to place their Shelves at strategic locations around the country where customers can find their entire range on display. The first of its kind opened doors to its customer at Battaramulla.
