Mövenpick Wedding Fair tomorrow

The Mövenpick Hotel Colombo will host the first ever Mövenpick Weddings Fair, featuring carefully selected partners, from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. tomorrow. 

Entrance to the event will be free and there will be limited parking available. It will be the ideal event for all future brides.

Its ‘Intimate, precious and extraordinary’ theme aims to display the creativity within the wedding industry. This in turn will help future brides and grooms understand and appreciate the unique talents of designers and exhibitors. The spacious arrangement organised by Mövenpick will allow exhibitors to showcase their collections of designs, products and materials.

The Mövenpick Resort Kuredhivaru, Maldives will be at the exhibition to promote its new resorts to Sri Lankan visitors as the ideal honeymoon destination.

The select exhibitors from various fields in the wedding industry include Buddhi Batiks, Michael Wijesuriya, the ‘Bridal Atelier’ by Ramona Oshini, Hameedia, Aslam Hussein, O:LIVE Couture, Belle Amour, Ramani Fernando Salons, Elegance by Design, Wedding Connections, Shirohana, Lassana Flora, Petals, Alankara, Stone ‘N’ String, Unique Jewellers, Fashion Fabrics, Events by Shero, the Banquet Company, Studio 3000, Studio U and Nadun Baduge, offering an opportunity for interaction with representatives of the fashion and bridal industry and for hands-on experience under one roof.

The Mövenpick Hotel, Colombo, consisting of 24 floors, offers a cool urban touch. The fifth floor is dedicated to banquets, giving guests the privacy required for a close-knit wedding ceremony.
