Michaelangelo brings you gala ‘Italian Nights’ at the Grove

Michaelangelo, which gave Sri Lanka its first taste of thin crust, wood fired pizza, has now opened at the Grove, the ‘Garden Lounge’ situated at 289 High Level Road, Colombo-5 (opposite Kandy store), in addition to its existing outlet in Nawala.

To celebrate their presence at the Grove and provide their many customers with something special, Michaelangelo will bring you ‘Italian Nights’, this weekend, starting on Friday and going on up to Sunday for dinner only. 

This will be the first of a series of monthly promotions by Michaelangelo at the Grove where delectable Italian specialities, apart from those on the a la carte menu will be presented to diners, with that inimitable Michaelangelo flair and panache.

This weekend will feature a gourmet menu for two (sharing) priced at Rs. 1,900 net per person, where diners will be presented with Bruschetta or Focaccia to start with, followed by a trio of Ravioli which will be prawn, crab and chicken liver pate. The main course gives diners a choice of Pasta, Risotto or Pizza to choose from, while desert too has a choice of three Italian favourites, namely Cassata, Tiramisu and Tres Leche. The choice of Pizzas on offer will include Tonno Chipollo, Marinara, Four Cheese, Romagno, Capricciosa, Hawaian and more, while the Pastas on offer will feature Prawn Fettuccine, Penne Puttanesca, Spaghetti Bolognaise, Spaghetti Carbonara, Fettuccine Al Fredo and others, while the Mushroom Risotto caters to vegetarians. A special feature is that Michaelangelo’s pasta is handmade and literally melts in the mouth.

Live music, a garden atmosphere, special lighting and an overall carnival atmosphere, guarantees to make Michaelangelo’s Italian Nights at the Grove an evening to remember.
