Kumarika - Official Hair Care Partner at Hiru Golden Film Awards 2018

Organised by the Asia Broadcasting Corporation Ltd. (ABC Network), the annual Hiru Golden Film Awards bestows awards to distinguished individuals involved in Sri Lanka’s silver screen recognising their contributions towards the local cinema.

Held previously in 2016 and 2017, the event brings the nation, international prestige with many Bollywood stars gracing the occasion together with Sri Lanka’s finest thespians.  

For this year’s awards, a variety of 40 films shown at cinemas and over 150 short films directed and produced within 2016/2017 were nominated for the Hiru Golden Awards. At the event, 40 awards were presented with most popular and special award distinctions.

Participating at the event on behalf of company was Hemas Manufacturing Ltd. Category Head Shamali Perera who presented the ‘Trend Setter 2018’ award to popular TV actor Hemal Ranasinghe.
