HSBC makes seasonal campaign #creatorsofcheer come alive at Colombo City Centre

There was much buzz and festive cheer as officials from HSBC and the Colombo City Centre (CCC) flipped the switch on to light up the big Christmas tree and officially kick start the festivities at CCC.

Many shoppers gathered to witness the special tree lighting ceremony with the brilliantly-lit giant Christmas tree towering inside the premises, followed by a harmonious choir singing Christmas carols to complement the festive atmosphere.

Colombo City Centre has become the favoured shopping attraction in Colombo that houses a range of international and local brands all under roof. In the days leading up to Christmas, HSBC credit cardholders can witness a host of entertainment with exciting activities and discounts up to 50% offered across popular retail establishments at CCC.

To create a joyful shopping experience, there will be daily raffle draw giveaways worth over 4 million rupees, where customers who shop for a minimum 10,000 rupees will be eligible to enter the draw and win exciting prizes. HSBC Credit Cardholders can double their chances of winning with every 10,000 rupees they spend. 

This will be in addition to many other fun activities for both adults and children such as Christmas baking at Mrs. Claus’s kitchen, Christmas décor making, puppet shows, gift wrapping, meet and greet with Santa, a range of choirs and Christmas bands, a Christmas family photo station to capture those special moments as well as a post office where kids can send their seasonal wishes to Santa Clause.   

HSBC also plans to make the theme for the season #creatorsofcheer come to life through a pop-up store on Level 3 at CCC, where there will be special giveaways and surprises for shoppers who apply for an HSBC credit card, during this time.
