Christmas Market with a different theme and purpose

‘Help them to Help themselves’ is a project promoted by Prudential Shipping and Helanka Vacations as part of their efforts to inculcate a culture of Creating Shared Values (CSV) amongst the team. 

The goal of the concept is to empower and enrich home based startup entrepreneurs by giving them an opportunity to create more value for themselves, whilst we all enrich ourselves by creating shared values.

With this in mind Prudential and Helanka is organising the ‘Resolute Christmas Market’ on Saturday, 15 December where products of 17+ home based entrepreneurs will be up for sale at their owned office premises at 471 Cotta Road, without any cost to the vendors. All of the vendors will showcase their wares at the facility and the market is being promoted amongst friends and well-wishers to patronise and buy local. All facilities are provided at the organisers cost. “We are creating a market place for them to come and sell their products,” said a spokesman. 

“This has given us the company as well as our team members an opportunity to give back to the society by engaging and participating in the project as part of our CSR efforts,” says Prudential Shipping and Helanka Vacations MD Rohitha Mendis.
