Elephant House Cream Soda puts the ‘pop’ into Avurudu

Elephant House Cream Soda which was chosen as the country’s most popular beverage for the seventh consecutive time; provided thousands of fans unlimited refreshment and entertainment opportunities this year too, centred around the island-wide Sinhala and Tamil New Year celebrations by sponsoring multiple, diverse events  at several locations during the month of April.



The seasonal activities began with Soorya Mangalyaya in Kandy, held at the Kundasale Rifle Grounds and at the Kalavanchikudi-Muththumari Ammari Kovil in Batticaloa, partnered for the fifth consecutive time by Elephant House Cream Soda. Many traditional games and activities associated with the New Year were played under the patronage of Elephant House Cream Soda, which counts generations of loyal fans while continuing to win over new ones daily.

Extending its activities to Jaffna and Kilinochchi, Elephant House Cream Soda’s sponsorship was also the driving force behind the successful completion of a number of sporting events at the Jaffna Nelladi Central College grounds and Vishvamadu respectively. The final two events in this series of Elephant House Cream Soda’s New Year festivities were held at the Ambanpola Madhya Maha Vidyalaya grounds in Yapahuwa and Mahaweli grounds in Bakamoona, Polonnaruwa.

At every venue, hundreds of participants quenched their thirst with refreshing Elephant House Cream Soda while savouring the excitement of games of tug-of-war, cross-country races and many other Avurudu activities. As always, the winners walked away with attractive prizes from Elephant House Cream Soda.

Furthermore, as a special seasonal offer, Elephant House Necto, Elephant House Orange Crush, Elephant House Apple Soda, Elephant House Lemonade and Elephant House Cream Soda are now available in one litre bottles at an introductory price of Rs. 100 each. In addition, Elephant House Orange Barley, Elephant House Orange Crush and Elephant House Lemonade 1.5 litre bottles are being sold at Rs. 175 each during the season instead of Rs. 190.
