WNS celebrates 15 years of service excellence in Sri Lanka

This year marks an important milestone for WNS Sri Lanka as it celebrates 15 years of excellence in Business Process Management operations in the island. 

WNS is a New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) listed leading global BPM company which offers business value to more than 350 global clients, employing over 41,000 professionals across 60 offices worldwide.  

As a global leader in the BPM Industry, WNS was one of the frontrunners to invest in the Sri Lankan BPM industry and continues to build capabilities in the sector which has experienced unparalleled growth over the last decade. It is expected to grow further and is thus set to make a significant contribution to the Sri Lankan economy in the years to come. 

In appreciation of the significant contribution made to the export economy of Sri Lanka, amounting to over $ 10 million year-on-year, WNS Sri Lanka was recognised at the 22nd Presidential Export Awards 2018/19 organised by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB), as the Highest Foreign Exchange Earner for FY17-18 in the BPM/KPM industry and was ranked among the Top Export Corporate Brands in Sri Lanka. 

With humble beginnings, WNS commenced operations in Sri Lanka in 2004 and was the group’s first Global Center of Excellence in Finance and Accounting Outsourcing (FAO) services outside of India.
