Sri Lanka Telecom partners with Kaspersky Lab to provide cyber security

Sri Lanka Telecom PLC recently joined hands with South Asian Technologies Ltd. (SAT), sole distributor for Kaspersky in Sri Lanka, to provide seamless cyber security to its clientele across the country.

SLT customers now have the opportunity of purchasing – Kaspersky Internet Security, Kaspersky Total Security, Kaspersky Internet Security for Android and Kaspersky Safe Kids, at a nominal monthly subscription added to SLT bill. 

As a part of an introductory offer, all customers are entitled to a one-month’s free subscription at the time of purchase.

Sri Lanka Telecom PLC CEO Kiththi Perera said: “Our main objective has always been to provide seamless connectivity via information and telecommunications services and products that drive the digital culture in Sri Lanka. Our partnership with SAT allows for a deeper penetration among users and allows them to protect themselves against cyber threats. South Asian Technologies Ltd. CEO Sanjaya Padmaperuma said: “We are very pleased to have reached this agreement with our national telecommunications provider in the distribution of Kaspersky to all its users. With the number of internet users rapidly increasing on a daily basis, we believe Kaspersky will provide the necessary solutions required to successfully combat internet security risks.”
