An upscale digital enabler, Silverleap Technology with its range of fintech and digital solutions made its mark in the digital financial services landscape of Sri Lanka as the technology partner of LB Finance PLC’s latest initiative, the revolutionary CIM (Cash-In-Mobile) mobile wallet.

The media conference introducing LB Cash-In-Mobile was held on 5 December 2019 in the presence of reputed print, electronic and digital media agencies of the country to take the ‘Ganudenuwak Wenawidiyak’ concept of LB CIM to the masses. The objective of LB’s digital offering together with Silverleap is to ‘make banking an everyday part of every Sri Lankan’ and bring true financial inclusivity.

Being the only trilingual mobile wallet available in the market, CIM comes in the form of two separate mobile apps, ‘CIM Customer App’ and ‘CIM Business App’, to cater to the specific needs of customers and merchants in all segments, which has shown an impressive early adoption within the first 60 days from its soft-launch. 

With CIM, wallet users can make QR based payments, mobile reloads and utility bill payments, fund transfer to any bank account CIM or otherwise, service their gold loans and other credit facilities at LB, and monitor their transactions any time, anywhere using their smartphone. 

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka approved LB CIM adhering to all applicable payment related mobile security guidelines and compliances. Moreover, the application has been developed in compliance with LankaQR guidelines to enable inter-bank QR payments. 

With the availability and the impressive growth of smart phone usage and data connectivity among majority of the citizens, Silverleap believes that this ultra-simple and user friendly CIM wallet will enable users to process all cash transactions easily, securely and cashless, while creating innovative products and channels which provides unprecedented convenience to users.
