Just In Time Group’s first virtual career fair tomorrow

As a part of its continued efforts to recruit members to its ever-growing Team JIT and to support job seekers, Just In Time Group (JIT) has organised its first Virtual Career Fair – on 11 February.

This is a free registration event, taking place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. via MS teams on 11 February.

“As we are all aware, the pandemic has had a great impact on businesses especially on the hiring process, as many employers and job seekers have sought to utilise what may have been previously unfamiliar methods of recruitment and career development,” said Group Manager HR Dilshani Fernando. “By leveraging on virtual services, we continue to connect with job seekers and find the best of breed talent.” 

This first JIT virtual career fair aims to enhance the company’s recruitment efforts to provide a robust and multi-faceted service with a skilled and varied pool of candidates that can service all industries. The Virtual Career Fair will be discussing the opportunities being offered ranging from Internships opportunities, Management trainee programs, general recruitments, etc.

“I worked for JIT for over eight years, the exposure, experience and knowledge I gained during those years were remarkable. It helped me immensely to develop my career in a foreign land. The very friendly environment and work ethics at JIT is a huge advantage for all staff working/joining the company,” remarked a former employee.

The virtual career fair will be conducted by the HR Team together with the IT Resource Outsourcing Unit, where, they will be covering the required candidate qualifications, experiences and interested areas when hiring, and additionally, JIT’s HR Team will also talk about its unique culture and business strengths.

The career fair will give an insightful opportunity to meet online and discuss with JIT’ team ran array of recruitment y opportunities that are currently available in a convenient online setting. JIT’s HR team will also be talking about the total employee experience that a prospective candidate or job seeker shall receive when coming on board.

The fair will be aligned for job seeking professionals, students and graduates.

This will be the first of series of Virtual Career Fairs planned for 2021, to highlight the demand of opportunities in the ICT sector, giving job seekers the chance to ask questions directly to learn more on the opportunities and about JIT.
