Huawei previews new range of products and wearables in 2020

Beginning the year 2020 with a fresh start, Huawei, innovative smartphone manufacturer, held an exclusive preview for its new additions of smartphones to the Y series, Huawei Y9s and Huawei Y6s, the all-new Huawei MediaPad T5 10-inch, as well as its remarkable new set of wearables, Huawei Watch GT 2, FreeBuds 3, Band 4 and 4e, at a media event recently.

The Huawei Y9s consists of a 6 GB RAM alongside a 128 GB ROM efficiently ensures the smooth operation even with multiple apps running. In terms of camera, the Huawei Y9s packs an ultra-clear 48MP main camera will capture fine details and crystal clarity in daily situations, along with an 8MP Ultra Wide Angle camera and a 2MP depth camera. 

In addition to the night mode, the rear triple cameras are extremely capable assistants for outstanding photography masterpieces. The improved Kirin 710F octa-core chipset efficiently enhances the running speed and lowers the power consumption. Powered by EMUI 9.1, the Huawei Y9s provides a simple interactive design and intelligent functions for easy use, like AI communication, wireless printing, phone clone, Huawei Share, etc.  

It also features an extraordinary 6.59” Huawei Ultra FullView Display with 91% screen-to-body ratio. Equipped with a 4,000 mAh powerful battery, Huawei Y9s can support continuous calling for 40 hours, music playback for 80 hours and video playback for nine hours. The Huawei Y9s is currently available for a price of Rs. 46,499.

Powered with a large storage and potent octa-core processor, Huawei Y6s packs a 3 GB RAM and a large 64 GB ROM with an additional 512 GB of expandable storage. The built-in 12nm Octa-core chipset of the Huawei Y6s includes four 2.3GHz big cores and four 1.8GHz tiny cores, effectively enhancing the running performance to full-speed and efficiently lowering the power consumption. With a 13 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera, the quality and clarity in the brilliant shots captured by the Huawei Y6s will be enhanced no matter during the day or night. 

It features an elegant and slim design coming in nature-inspired colors as Orchid Blue and Starry Black with an impressive 6.09” Dewdrop display with 87% screen-to-body ratio, providing an ultra-broad view for gaming, browsing and reading. It also features a 3,020 mAh battery and is powered by Huawei’s EMUI 9.1. The Huawei Y6s is now available at all Huawei Experience Centres, authorised dealers and Singer outlets for a price of Rs. 25,499.

The new Huawei MediaPad T5 10-inch is the latest accumulation to the Huawei media tablets. With a 10.1” 1080p Full HD Vivid Display, Huawei MediaPad T5 offers better entertainment in terms of immersive user experience. Users can be inspired by the beauty of nature, as the Mist Blue HUAWEI MediaPad T5 comes with a wholly unique look. 

The pure and airy appearance delivers a fresh new perspective for users. The sleek and stylish metal body along with advanced sandblasting workmanship and gracefully curved edges allow you to enjoy the quality life with details. 

The octa-core processor with a main frequency of up to 2.36 GHz gives the user great performance while consuming less power. Furthermore, memory size can easily be expanded by up to 256 GB using a microSD card. The Huawei MediaPad T5 is currently available for a price of Rs. 39,999.

The Huawei Watch GT 2, receiving a phenomenal response worldwide, is guaranteed to have a battery life of up to two weeks. The watch comes preinstalled with over 15 running courses and offers voice guidance during workouts. 

The 42 mm model has a 1.2-inch 390 x 390 AMOLED screen. Huawei has adopted a 3D glass screen to create a bezel-less design, with curved edges which merge into the casing. The Bluetooth Calling feature provided by the Huawei Watch GT 2 allows the user to make or receive calls during sports or other instances where the user is occupied. 

This gives an opportunity to constantly stay in touch with family or friends. It offers Bluetooth 5.1, including built-in GPS, supporting GPS and GLONASS satellite positioning systems by which it provides more accurate and faster positioning services to hold around 500 songs. 

Coupled with the efficient pairing with the Huawei FreeBuds 3, users can enjoy the music from their favourite lists without the phone while running or jogging. It is powered by Huawei’s self-developed wearable chip Kirin A1, the dual-chip design and intelligent power saving technology. The Huawei Watch GT 2 is available at all Huawei Experience Centres, authorised dealers and Singer outlets for a price of Rs. 39,999.

Being the world’s first open-fit active noise-cancellation Bluetooth earphones, Huawei’s Freebuds 3 are tailored to work and adapt to different ear canal shapes. It features a Smart Wireless Charging concept to effortlessly listen to music and engage in calls over the day. With 20 hours of battery life, they are also comfortable to use for an extended period. Huawei’s intelligent active noise-cancellation feature can be turned on simply by double tapping the left ear bud. 

Huawei has implemented a feature called Bone Voice ID on the Freebuds 3 which will come in extremely useful for users while making calls. This technology helps differentiate between a user’s voice during a call and background noise by picking up vibrations from the movement of your mouth. Using this information the Freebuds 3 automatically lowers ambient noise, enabling you to enjoy your calls with much higher audio quality. The Huawei FreeBuds 3 is now available for a price of Rs. 35,999.

Huawei Band 4, the new addition to Huawei’s array of professional performance tracking bands, comes with the Huawei TruSeen™ 3.5, monitoring users’ heart rate with accuracy. It also packs over 9 workout models to enhance the exercise routine of its users. 

With a built-in USB charger and battery of the Huawei Band 4 and 4e being expected to last for over two weeks, Huawei Band 4 allows a seamless and uncomplicated method of charging so that the user can efficiently be accompanied by its superior features whenever they workout.

It also provides intelligent reminders via vibrations if the heart rate exceeds the maximum average heart rate. In addition, Band 4 has a 50 m water resistance to be ideal in swimming performance tracking. In the night mode, the invisible light ensures less distraction for better sleep

Huawei Band 4e Basketball Wizard Edition is the one of the first ideal trackers to be introduced to the market which provides superior benefits in the area of basketball workout modules and AI monitoring. It has two wearing modes, one is the conventional wrist wearing mode and the other is the sneaker wearing mode, while the professional sports monitoring function is mainly aimed at the latter wearing mode. 

The Huawei Band 4 is also available for a price of Rs. 6,999 and Huawei Band 4e is also available for a price of Rs. 4,799.
