Finco Technologies Ltd., a long-standing, well-established IT solutions provider and system integrator in Sri Lanka, clinched two coveted awards for ‘Solution of the Year–Overall Products’ and ‘Principal Recognition - Arista Data Centre Switches’ at the EGUARDIAN Partner Conference held at Jetwing Blue in Negombo recently.

The Finco products which came under focus in awarding the ‘Solution of the Year’ accolade were FortiGate and Arista data centre switches.

FortiGate next generation firewalls use purpose-built security processors and threat intelligence security services from FortiGuard labs to deliver top-rated protection and high performance, including encrypted traffic. FortiGate reduces complexity with automated visibility into applications, users and network and provides security ratings to adopt security best practices.

Arista Networks designs multi-layer network switches to deliver software-defined networking (SDN) solutions for large data centre, cloud computing, high-performance computing and high-frequency trading environments.

Arista’s products include an array of 10/25/40/50/100 Gigabit Ethernet low-latency cut-through switches, including the 7124SX, which remains the fastest switch using SFP+ optics through September 2012, with its sub-500ns latency, as well as the 7500 series, Arista’s award-winning modular 10G/40G/100Gbit/s switch.

At the core of Arista’s platform is the Extensible Operating System (EOS), a ground-breaking network operating system with single-image consistency across hardware platforms, and modern core architecture enabling in-service upgrades and application extensibility. In terms of the award criteria, Arista’s platform executed the most comprehensive integrative solution of the year, using multiple products with emphasis on the criticality of the projects involved and availability of experienced and certified engineers.

While Finco has significant achievements in FortiGate and Arista technologies in Sri Lanka, Finco Technologies Ltd., is also the master commercial reseller (MCR) for NEC Servers, Storage, Smart data centre, Smart business continuity solutions (NEC Express cluster X), Smart data management (NEC Information Assessment System) solutions and Smart facial recognition solutions. Finco Technologies also deals in leading security and integration brands called Manage Engine (privileged access management solutions), Algosec, Tuffin, Micro focus, Cloud flair and VMWare. Finco Technologies recently became a Tier 1 partner for Dell EMC’s product portfolio, which includes end computing devices (desktop, notebook, and tab) and network and enterprise solutions.

Finco Technologies was incorporated in 2005 as a fully-owned subsidiary of the reputed FINCO Group of Companies. It is a well-established IT solutions provider and system integrator, having dedicated sales, pre-sales and technical teams for both infrastructure and security solutions and servicing a variety of corporate and retail clientele. The globally bench-marked brands of premium quality are imported and marketed by Finco Technologies, which has earned a name for itself in the business sector. All products sold by Finco Technologies carry a comprehensive warranty and excellent after sales service.
