Australian expert to speak on Business Intelligence and Blockchain on 14 Nov.

Mario Bojilovhas been invited by STRIDES Ltd. to conduct a program on Business Intelligence and Blockchain on 14 and 15 November at Hilton Residences Colombo(JAIC) for private and public sector enterprises. This session aims to transform businesses to become intelligent and understand how Blockchain can be incorporated into a company’s operations for 2019.

Be it marketing, information technology, or banking and finance, Blockchain is now applicable to industries across the board. This sessionwill allow individuals from the public and private sectors to come together to review their internal business intelligence processes, data management techniques, and apply data analytic tools to understand and identify key methods that can be used to improve the analysis and perception of a company’s progress.

One of the main objectives of this program is to make companies aware of the methodology used to improve their insights into business intelligence and crossover to being fully fledged business intelligent entities. The session will evaluate business intelligence case studies, andderive a working and operational model as a key takeaway.

Over the course of day one, thesession will look at business models representation, and allow groups to develop a comprehensive and practical blueprint that allows companies to identify their Blockchain strategy.

The two-day session will focus on group work and presentation that will help companies transition into a business intelligent sphere.

Mario Bojilov is a MEngSc (Research) qualified professional and has been certified as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Mario is also a graduatein a Diplomain Applied Finance and Investment. He has worked in the area of Data Analytics and Business Improvement since 1994. Over the last 12 years, Mario has taught 1,500+ university students and 350+ professionals in the areas of finance, digital technologies, risk and audit. Mario is a Certified Information Systems Auditor from CISA and a lecturer in Accounting Information Systems, IS Control and Governance, Enterprise Resource Planning, Systems Analysis and Design.

He has delivered industry training courses and presentations in Australia, the UAE, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines. Mario has co-authored the following academic articles: Privacy and Big Data and Continuous Auditing and Continuous Monitoring in ERP Environments: Case Studies of Application Implementations.
