AHRP-SHRM adds value to HR fraternity

The Association of Human Resource Professionals together with the Society for Human Resource Management India will be conducting a series of HR Competency based programs in the coming few months.

HR Business Partner program is scheduled for the end of August with the objective of providing knowledge and skills required to excel in the role of an HR Business Partner. The HR Business Partner program is a two-day workshop which will help HR professionals in aligning their functional knowledge to the business.

HR generalists or senior specialists with 4-12 years of experience in HR project/program management will be benefitted by this workshop.

Participants will be able to enhance their understanding of the HR Business Partner role and its key demands, frameworks to understand business and work involved in the business and tools for aligning HR strategy with direction of the organisation and business strategy.

Total rewards in alignment which is also scheduled at the end of August/early September provides conceptual knowledge on Total Rewards and helps in aligning the rewards strategy to the HR and overall business strategy. It also helps link the rewards strategy to the value of work that is contributed by employees.

Mid to senior level HR professionals with a minimum experience of seven years are most suitable for this workshop.

The program will help participants understand the linkage of reward strategy to talent strategy of an organisation, concepts and practices of benchmarking reward practices, and understand the rewards philosophy; it’s structuring and design, the compensation planning process, its administration and broad understanding of the regulatory framework governing compensation and benefits.

Instructional design is a two-day classroom workshop that aims at imparting five core Instructional Design (ID) skills to participants; determining learning needs, defining measurable learning outcomes, devising teaching methods, planning for content development and planning for evaluation of learning effectiveness. These core skills constitute the basic framework of ID that can help you design and manage learning regardless of the media. To ensure an effective skill transfer to the workplace, this program also provides a host of Job Aids, a comprehensive course book that serves as a go-to reference material long after the workshop.

Instructional Design – Communication and Effectiveness is for L&D professionals who have two-three years of experience or more in facilitation, training management, teaching, content development and e-learning design – who are looking for a systematic process-based approach to their work. Learning professionals who manage a team of vendors for design quality, will also find this program valuable.

At the end of the two day workshop, you will be able to: Use the given templates and Job Aids to write a comprehensive learning design document for the creation of an engaging learning intervention that balances both individual learning needs and workplace requirements, Identify concrete steps to be taken during the design phase to measure the learning effectiveness of a given learning intervention.
