The Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA) will host a webinar on ‘Regional Focus Group for the Revision of the International Integrated Reporting (IR) Framework’ conducted by the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) on Wednesday from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

The first-ever revision of the International IR Framework is underway. To ensure integrated reporting continues to meet the wider goals of financial stability and sustainable development, the IIRC is refreshing the IR Framework. A draft of the revised Framework is now open for 90 days of public consultation.

Your voice is essential to the revision process, because integrated reporting is, at its core, a market-led movement. The IIRC wants to hear from all stakeholders, including report preparers, investors, regulators, standard setters, the accounting profession, academia, NGOs and other users of integrated reports during the 90-day consultation ending 19 August.

At this webinar keynote address will be delivered by International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) Chair Emeritus and Judge Prof. Mervyn King, and the presentations will made by IIRC Technical Director Liz Prescott, together with from the centre for Integrated Reporting, Deakin Business School, Deakin University, Australia Michael Bray and Assoc. Prof. Luckmika Perera who will outline the revisions to the International IR Framework.

CMA has been actively engaged in Integrated Reporting and annually conducts the ‘CMA Excellence in Integrated Reporting Awards’. Participants will also have an opportunity to discuss practical applications and obtain clarifications via chat option.
