Sri Lanka-China Journalists’ Forum President Nalin Aponso felicitated

President of the Sri Lanka-China Journalists’ Forum (SLCJF), Nalin Aponso was felicitated and awarded for his services in promoting inter-personal solidarity between Sri Lanka and China. 

He received the award at the 68th Chinese Republic Day ceremony at the BMICH organised by the Association for Sri Lanka-China Social and Cultural Cooperation. 

Aponso, who is the President of SLCJF for the past 10 years, has also been a veteran cricket commentator. He has rendered yeoman service by promoting friendship between Sri Lanka and China for more than 15 years. He was felicitated as the youngest Sri Lankan who had been dedicated to promote Sri Lanka-China Friendship and it coincided with the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and China. Aponso also received a special award for the service to introduce China Radio International (CRI/CCTV) to Sri Lanka as well.
