The Sri Lanka Association of Administrative & Professional Secretaries (SLAAPS) held its first-ever talk show titled ‘Walk the Talk – a Trailblazing Experience’ at the Hilton Colombo recently, amidst a large gathering of dignitaries, members and friends.

It was held under the patronage of SLAAPS President Ruveena Cader. Deshabandu Roshan Mahanama, former Sri Lankan cricketer and ICC match referee, attended the event as its Chief Guest.

It was an honour to listen to the Panellists – Peter D’Almeida (CEO of N’able/Actor), Bathiya Jayakodi (musician/producer), Stephanie Siriwardena (Miss Sri Lanka 2011 and Miss Sri Lanka for Miss Universe 2011) and Danu Innasithamby (Jaffna boy/Colombo diva), sharing their life journey and experience with audience.

The association also awarded three scholarships to deserving students to pursue their career in the secretarial field at this event.
