Rohantha Athukorala wins ‘Mahatma Gandhi Leadership Excellence Award 2019’

Respected business professional Dr. Rohantha Athukorala, who heads the top Regional Artificial Intelligence (AI) company for perception management Clootrack in Sri Lanka, Maldives and Pakistan, was awarded the ‘Mahatma Gandhi’ Leadership Excellence Award 2019. This comes in the backdrop of strong relations between the Sri Lankan and Indian Governments which coincided with the meetings of the heads of state over the weekend. 

Dr. Athukorala, one of the top marketing professionals in Sri Lanka, is the former Head of Sri Lanka Export Development Board, Sri Lanka Tourism and Lanka Sathosa and has in many occasions walked out of the position to uphold good governance and financial integrity. He was instrumental in driving the setting up of the Atchchuveli Industrial Zone – the first post-war industrial zone in Jaffna – that was funded by the Government of India when he was attached to the UN (UNOPS) as the Head of National Portfolio Development Sri Lanka and Maldives.
