Pan Asia Bank’s Seumi conferred ‘Most Fabulous Global Training and Development Leaders Award’

Pan Asia Banking Corporation PLC Manager – Learning and Development Seumi Fernando was conferred the prestigious ‘Most Fabulous Global Training and Development Leaders Award’ at the World HRD Congress 2020 for her outstanding contribution in the realm of learning and development.

The event was held at the Taj Lands End, Mumbai from 15-17 February amidst the presence of a distinguished gathering of nearly 1900 delegates from around the world comprising global business leaders, HR practitioners, thought leaders, entrepreneurs, academics and researchers.

This globally renowned award recognises and appreciates the profound role played by the learning and development specialists in shaping the careers of employees through innovative and impactful learning and development interventions. 

The award amply reflects and also recognises the outstanding leadership demonstrated by Seumi towards creating a ‘learning organisation’ in Pan Asia Bank where she strives to promote a culture of ‘continuous learning’ with a view to driving process excellence, employee motivation and organisational productivity. 

Seumi holds an MSc. in Human Resource Management and Development from the Salford University of UK, a Diploma in Credit Management and a Certificate in Banking and Finance from the Institute of Bankers, Sri Lanka.
