PIM conducts its first ever ‘Entrepreneurs LIVE’

The Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM), the nation’s management mentor, conducted its first ever ‘Entrepreneurs LIVE’ to showcase its entrepreneurs on 4 October at PIM. Five entrepreneurs who started their entrepreneurial journey with PIM shared their success stories and the challenges with a large gathering consisted of mainly budding entrepreneurs of the PIM.

W.K.H. Wegapitiya, Chairman of Laugfs Holdings, who is also an alumnus of PIM, was the Chief Guest. The event was organised by the team of the PIM business incubator; The PIM Genesis. Prasanna Hettiarchchi – Founder of Saaraketha Organics, Jayomi Lokuliyana – Cofounder of Z Messenger, Nilusha De Silva – Founder of the Skrumptious, Paul Sean – Cofounder of Monkeytee, and Hasini Gunasekera – Founder of International Academy of Beauticians shared critical entrepreneurial insights. The panel discussion moderated by the PIMA Chairman Nishantha Gunasekara gave the opportunity for the audience to further delve into the success stories of PIMs entrepreneurs.

The aim of the event was to showcase sustained efforts stemming from the final year MBA Entrepreneurship Skills Projects and insights gathered through the PIM MBA and to share success stories in order to motivate future entrepreneurs. The event was fully sponsored by Alliance Finance Company PLC.
