NHRDC seminar on good governance and role of public service

The National Human Resource Development Council organised a lecture on ‘Good Governance and the Role of the Public Service’ for senior public servants at the Auditorium of the Ministry of Tourism on 4 October. This lecture was delivered by former Permanent Secretary and currently Director (PIM) Dr. Loyd Fernando and Samantha Rathnayake, Management Consultant, PIM. About 120 participants from various ministries, departments, and semi- government institutions were participated and good response received from them. Both speakers highlighted the need for new ways of working in the public sector.
