Lakshan recognised by Intl. Planned Parenthood Federation

Lakshan Seneviratne 

• Gets appointed to IPPF’s Finance, Audit and Risk Committee

Lakshan Seneviratne has been appointed to the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee (C-FAR) of the International Planned Parenthood Federation, which is dedicated to delivering sexual and reproductive healthcare around the world and fighting for sexual rights. 

An MA volunteer, Lakshan founded the Be The Change Federation and is an author and a Director of W.U. Seneviratne & Co, a family business. 

He has been Assistant Treasurer to the National Council of the Family Planning Association of Sri Lanka, Board Member of Lanka Plus Association, Volunteer of Sri Lankan United Nations Friendship Organisation and Youth Member of Red Cross Sri Lanka. 

Additionally, he has been Youth Ambassador of Ashoka Sri Lanka and Member of the Youth Parliament of Sri Lanka. Amongst the skills required for the C-FAR committee, Lakshan can point to skills in finance, investment and risk management. Lakshan is from South Asia, specifically Sri Lanka, and is under 25 years old at this time.
