International Administrative Professional Week kicks off

The Sri Lanka Association of Administrative and Professional Secretaries (SLAAPS), affiliated to the Association of Secretaries and Administrative Professionals – Asia Pacific (ASA), is the only registered association for secretaries in Sri Lanka. Its membership comprises secretaries from the public, private and banking sectors.

The Association will be celebrating the International Administrative Professionals’ Week (APW), commencing today. This is an annual event celebrated worldwide and, in Sri Lanka, the following events are scheduled for the APW 2019.

Flag Day and Newspaper Supplement, Awarding of Scholarships, Conference, Talk Show and Fellowship.

Conference and Talk Show titled ‘Walk the Talk – a Trail Blazing experience’ will be held on 27 April at the Colombo Hilton commencing at 4 p.m.

The Chief Guest will be the Ambassador for United Arab Emirates in Sri Lanka.

The panellists for the Talk Show will be Hela Clothing Chairman Dian Gomes, former National Cricketer Avishka Gunawardena, Miss Sri Lanka 2011 Stephanie Siriwardena, Spa Ceylon Director/Co-Founder Shalin Balasuriya, Sri Lankan Airlines A320 Commander Capt. Simren Ghumman, and Sri Lankan Airlines First Officer Maneesha Nambuge.
