Director Business Development Daminda Mulgama said, “In doing business we need to understand the other side of the coin, from customers’ point of view as well as supporting services’ role such as customs, ports, etc. We partner with Shippers’ Academy Colombo as they have the ability to deliver exporter/importer based logistic training with a lot of practical knowledge they build into the training, and at the end of the day give a well-recognised certifications to the students to guide them for higher studies and develop the carrier path one wishes to progress.”

Shippers’ Academy Colombo CEO Rohan Masakorala said, “As a shipper based training institute we train people way beyond the subject of logistics as international trade is a spectrum of knowledge, that makes a good logistician, we teach them common sense in business, and of course they have the option of getting a back to back certification in Australia and earn Chartered Management Accountants, Australia membership as our curriculum is well-recognised by Australia.”
