CICRA’s second batch of Executive Masters in Information Security graduates

Sri Lanka’s second batch of 35 graduates who completed the Executive Masters in Information Security degree offered by CICRA Campus in partnership with Asia E University (AEU), Malaysia received their degrees during the AEU convocation held recently in Kuala Lumpur.

“We now have 67 graduates of Executive Masters in Information Security degree. CICRA Campus is proud of our students,” CICRA Campus Group Director/CEO Boshan Dayaratne said, adding that there are over 200 candidates currently following various stages of the Executive Master’s program.

“This is the only master’s degree in Sri Lanka that covers 360 degrees of information security,” Dayaratne said. 

“By covering 360 degrees of information security perspectives, the programme produces thoroughbred managers and leaders in the IT sector with profound understanding of the information security domain.”

“The rich curriculum of the degree encompasses the complete overall body of knowledge of the information security industry while our competent and experienced faculty are instrumental in guiding individuals to obtain the requisite accreditation to advance their career,” he said. 

“We have an affordable, specially negotiated fee structure for Sri Lankan students that facilitates academic advancement of IT professionals,” he said.

The Executive Masters in Information Security degree is awarded by AEU, Malaysia. 

AEU is a Member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities and Member of the International Council for Open and Distance Education. 

The university is an international university set in Asia, by Asians for Asia under the Asia Cooperation Dialogue of which Government of Sri Lanka is a signatory. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Sri Lanka.

The 35 graduates of the Executive Master’s Degree in Information Security from CICRA Campus are as follow: Lahiru Eranga Jayawardane, Gayan Kularatne, Lankara sooriyamalin, Prasanna Aragoda, Dinesh Karunathilaka, Tharanga Rajapaksha, Dulan Chathuranga, Dinuka Senarath Mendis, Mohamed Shihan Suhail, Sathyajith Senaka, Rasika Tharanga Perera, Shaminda Prabha Wijeratne, Aruna Chaminda Kariyawasam, Eranda Keerthi Dayawansa, Nalin Udayanath Jayaratne, Buddhika Waruna Pathirana, Karunaraj Rooshan, Rasika Priyantha karunathilaka, Chamal Hewawasam, Chithamparanathan Rajathagireesan, Chanaka Kasun De Silva, Dammika Bandara Ranathunga, Thushara Senarathna, Lahiru Prabashan Jayaweera, Ranil Nilantha Gamage, Nalaka Ruwan Sri Bandara, Rajeewa Adikaram, Dilshan Thushara Soysa, Gayantha Bhagya Wijeyawardena, Janaka Prasad, Sasitha Hasarinda Peiris, Dinush Niranga Weeraratne, Dileepa C.
