Video consultancy project launched at Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children

Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children this week launched a pilot project for patients to consult with medical professions via video amid closure of hospital Out-Patient Departments (OPD) due to the COVID-19 outbreak.During the launch of the project, paediatric neurologist Dr. Anurudda Padeniya performed a consultancy using the app at the hospital’s Neurology Unit. Health and Indigenous Medical Services Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi was also present at the event.

The project will be implemented in other specialised hospitals in the future and the service is accessible via the oDoc app.
