Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo introduces charming duo URB at Sapphyr Lounge

Presenting Sarita Carreon on vocals and Marlou Cabusus on the keys, URB is made up of a talented duo with harmonious voices and irresistible charm. Having worked together for over 15 years URB have captivated audiences around the world and now perform live at Sapphyr Lounge. Their repertoire transcends multiple genres ranging from retro classics and smooth jazz to current chart toppers.

Sarita’s love for music developed at a young age - beginning to record in her early teens, she soon moved on to theatre where she trained in classical art forms. Subsequently, she joined a band and fostered her own style of singing coupled with a unique stage presence stemming from her days in theatre.  Having drawn inspiration from the likes of Sarah Brightman, Celine Dion and Beyoncé, it’s no surprise that she boasts such a wide repertoire of music. Marlou is a pure genius on the keys and a vocalist himself who was first discovered on a television show. His admiration toward music legends including Frank Sinatra, lets him deliver a perfect blend when Sarita and him perform as a duo.

The Sapphyr Lounge offers a stylish setting with impressive floor to ceiling windows and is lined with charisma and elegant luxury. It is the ideal place to spend time with family and friends, or even for a more intimate tête-à-tête.  Sapphyr Lounge’s carefully crafted menu gratifies a range of cravings with an extensive list of grape and specially curated beverages, with light eats to complement.
