‘Bumblebee’ at CCC Scope Cinemas and Liberty Cinema

‘Bumblebee’ is showing at Colombo City Centre Scope Cinemas and Liberty Cinema from 4 January.

‘Bumblebee’ is an American science fiction action film centred around the Transformers character of the same name. It is the sixth installment of the live-action ‘Transformers’ film series and a prequel to 2007’s ‘Transformers’.

Plot summary: On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.
