The Great HR Quiz 2017

The Great HR Quiz is one of the main events organised by IPM Sri Lanka (Institute of Personnel Management). The main objective of this event is to share and improve knowledge and best practices on Human Resource management. This is also a great event where top professionals from the HR field meet under one roof; helping enhance networks greatly. IPM held the Great HR Quiz for the fourth consecutive year recently at Cinnamon Grand, Colombo followed by cocktails. The quiz is one of the greatest platforms to meet top professionals in the HR field. The HR quiz for 2017 comprised over 400 participants which included over 65 teams island-wide, marking the highest number of teams registered in the history of the event and the teams represented both private and State sector, compared to the previous years. Top professionals from leading companies such as People's Bank, NTB, Dialog, SLT, Nestle, Taj hotels, MAS Holdings and many more participated. The latest technology was used for this event, including an electronic device to conduct the quiz, making it less time-consuming and more efficient when announcing the results. Winners were selected based on their knowledge, effectiveness and efficiency of answering MCQs. 

The Chief Guest was State Minister of Labour and Trade Union Relations Ravindra Samaraweera and Guest of Honour was Waters Edge Chairman Chamath De Silva
