Rtn. Saravanan Soundrarajan installed as 91st President of Colombo Rotary Club

Rtn. Saravanan Soundrarajan was installed as the 91st President of the Rotary Club of Colombo on 7 July at the Taj Samudra Hotel Colombo. Rtn. Saravanan is a 

second generation Rotarian, as his father, Rtn. K Soundrarajan, is also a member of the Rotary Club of Colombo. More than 250 

corporate and business leaders attended this gala dinner, and the Chief Guest was Unilever Sri Lanka Chairman Carl Cruz while the Guest of Honour was District 

Governor Rotary District 3220 Rtn. Sebastian Karunakaran.  The Club’s outgoing President Rtn. Kumudu Warnakulasuriya, son of Rotary Past President Daya Warnakulasuriya, had been recognised by Rotary District 3220 for the excellent work done during the Rotary year just ended in June, and shared the joint award for Best Club in the District and received 30 other special awards at the recently concluded Rotary District Awards Gala event at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel. - pix by Sameera Wijesinghe
