Curfew crackdown

The Government yesterday said it would strictly enforce the curfew in place in several districts as the number of confirmed new coronavirus cases increased in the country. The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) said that at least another 14 days of self-isolation by 80% of the population was crucial to stop the spread of COVID-19. Police is implementing the curfew strictly. Most people have been staying in their homes, while some have been venturing out mainly to buy medicine and essential food items
