Prime Minister and UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe has informed that the presidential candidate of the UNP will be decided during next week, General Secretary Akila Viraj Kariyawasam said last night.

The UNP is in disarray over the choice of its presidential candidate with Leader Wickremesinghe, Deputy Sajith Premadasa and Speaker Karu Jayasuriya all vying sending signals of a major rift within.
