Susantha Ratnayake ends stint as BOI Chairman

Business leader and former Chairman of John Keells Holdings Plc Susantha Ratnayake has stepped down as the Chairman of the Board of Investment with effect from yesterday. 

The move is due to personal reasons whilst originally he had volunteered to serve for a year only. 

Ratnayake was appointed as BOI Chairman in December last year.

The BOI comes under the purview of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa who is likely to appoint a new Chairman shortly. 

The current Board of Directors of the BOI includes Dr. Harsha Cabral PC, Dr. Harsha Subasinghe, Dr. Sanjay Kulathunga and Jayamin Pelpola whilst the Director General is Sanjaya Mohottala.
