Party leaders to meet tomorrow to discuss COVID-19

A follow-up meeting of all party leaders will be held at 10.00 a.m. tomorrow (2 April) regarding the novel coronavirus COVID-19 and the prevailing situation in the country.

The meeting has been called on the instructions of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.

A previous party leaders’ meeting was held on 24 March, where party leaders were briefed on the Government programs to control the spread of the novel coronavirus COVID-19. This previous meeting was also presided over by the Prime Minister, and attended by representatives of all political parties represented in the last Parliament.
