OVER 20 French and Belgian journalists ARRIVE

A congregation comprising of 20 press and media personnel, representing 20 reputed French and Belgian media enterprises, arrived in Sri Lanka on 18 January on a familiarisation tour of the island.

The tour is an initiative of Connaissance de Ceylan and Theme Resorts & Spas Chairman and Managing Director Chandra Wickramasinghe, in collaboration with Salaun Holidays Chairman and Proprietor Michel Salaun, a company which is a leading tour operator in France. An effort to bring back Sri Lanka in the limelight of tourism, the value of the media coverage brought by this exercise is immeasurable.
