MR hails market performance

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday hailed the record breaking Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) performance and said the Government was committed to reviving the sluggish Sri Lankan economy.  

The Prime Minister posted a message on twitter thanking investors for having faith in local companies. 

“The All Share Price Index at CSE reached its highest today at 7922.66 points. It’s also among the best performing indices in the world so far in 2021. I thank investors for having faith in the #lka companies. #GOSL is committed to fulfilling its mandate to revive the #SriLankan econ.”
