CCC congratulates President Gotabaya

• Ceylon Chamber says looking forward to working with Govt. to develop economy 
• Hopes President will find sustainable solutions to economic challenges 
• “Unreserved commitment” to assist Rajapaksa on progressive measures

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) yesterday congratulated President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and said it looked forward to continuing its work with the Government to implement progressive measures and develop the country.    

In a letter addressed to President Rajapaksa, the Chairman of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce congratulated the President on his election as the 7th Executive President of Sri Lanka.

The letter expressed confidence that President Rajapaksa would “in steering the future of our nation, deliver on his vision to accelerate inclusive economic growth while also finding sustainable solutions to the most significant challenges before us.” 

The Chamber also pledged its unreserved commitment to making a meaningful contribution towards the progressive measures required to propel the nation forward. 

“The Ceylon Chamber looks forward to continue working with the Government to serve the best interests of the business community while according the highest priority of national interest.”
