Sri Lanka Insurance on Friday distributed motorcycles to its Motor Technical Officers at its head office.

The event was graced by Chairman Jagath Wellawatta, Chief Executive Officer Chandana L. Aluthgama and the senior management of SLIC.

As the market leader in the motor insurance sector, the flagship brand Sri Lanka Insurance Motor Plus owns the largest Motor Technical Officer network in the country, which is strategically located and provides wider coverage within the island.

With this initiative of providing Motor Technical Officers with motorcycles, they can now gain quicker access to an accident site to facilitate onsite accident assessment, giving customers the convenience of a shorter waiting period at the site.

Addressing the gathering, Chairman Wellawatta noted: “We are continuously striving to enhance standards and deliver exceptional service to our customers. As a leader, we always try to innovate and set the trend in the market. We have identified the necessity of arming our Motor Technical Officers with the necessary infrastructure to bring them closer to our valuable customers quicker and we are paving the way to change industry standards and shifting paradigms for the service levels of the motor insurance sector in Sri Lanka.”
