SANASA Life Insurance wins UK Award along with National Business Excellence Award

SANASA Life Insurance Company Ltd., proving its supremacy in the insurance field once again has been recognised for its excellence with an international award. United Kingdom’s Global Banking & Finance Magazine which follows global financial growth trends has selected and rewarded SANASA Life Insurance Company Ltd. as the Best Micro Insurance Company for the year 2019. 

Global Banking and Finance Review is a finance magazine based in the United Kingdom. It was launched in 2010. The magazine focuses on global financial trends and developments. The Global Banking & Finance Awards was started in 2011 to recognise and honour inspirational changes happening in the global financing community. They reflect the innovation, achievement, strategy, progressive and inspirational changes taking place within the financial sector. Several Sri Lankan banks, top companies in the finance field and professionals have been awarded by UK’s Global Banking & Finance Magazine.

SANASA Life Insurance Company Ltd. also managed to win a Merit award in 2019 at the National Business Excellence Awards organised by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) with a view to recognising business enterprises, which have demonstrated excellence in business, whilst contributing to the economic progress of the country. SANASA Life Insurance Company first commenced its activities in October 1991 with the formation of the All Lanka Mutual Assurance Organization to provide rural folk with Non accidental cover. The program which commenced under the name Almao implemented by charging Rs. 5-20 monthly, set the stage to create the huge Insurance facility SANASA Life Insurance Company which commenced General insurance activities in 2005 and life insurance activities in 2013. SANASA Life Insurance Company has since demonstrated its prowess and recognition in the life insurance landscape of Sri Lanka by winning many accolades at the National Business Excellence Awards in the years 2017, 2018 and 2019.
