Pradeep Amirthanayagam appointed People’s Leasing and Finance Chairman

Top professional and existing Board member Pradeep Amirthanayagam has been appointed as the Non-Executive Independent Chairman of People’s Leasing and Finance PLC.

The appointment was effective 25 October and was approved by the Central Bank on 8 November.

Previously he was the Deputy Chairman, Non-Executive, Independent Director and Senior Independent Director of People’s Leasing and Finance.

Amirthanayagam was first appointed to the People’s Leasing and Finance board on 8 April 2016.

He is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK (FCIM), and Associate Member of Trinity College of London Speech and Drama ATCL (Sp/Dr). He is also the Deputy Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, Chairman and Managing Director of the leading advertising agency Holmes Pollard & Stott, Vice President of SUROL (Society for the Upliftment and Rehabilitation of Leprosy Affected Persons), and Director of the Anura Bandaranaike Foundation.
