Nugegoda city branch celebrates 59th anniversary of People’s Bank

Colombo Outer Regional Office Regional Manager Thushari Hewawasam and Nugegoda City Branch Manager Lakni Fernando celebrating the 59 years of service by People’s Bank

People’s Bank celebrated its 59 years of service rendered to the nation on 1 July, at People’s Bank HQ and island-wide branches, having religious ceremonies and several social events. 

Nugegoda city branch organised a pirith chanting ceremony on behalf of citizens, customers and the staff. Colombo Outer Regional Office Regional Manager Thushari Hewawasam, Asst. Regional Manager Madhawa Kanankahewa, Asst. Regional Manager Priyanka Ratnasiri, Manager (Nugegoda City Branch) Lakni Fernando, staff members and the customers took part at this occasion which was organised by the Nugegoda City Branch in collaboration with the regional head office Colombo Outer Regional. 

A total of 59 ‘YES’ accounts were opened subsequent to this celebration.
