MBSL sponsors ‘Talk of the Month’

  • Valuable knowledge-sharing platform held at CBSM featuring Bathiya and Santhush

The Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka & Finance PLC (MBSL) recently partnered with the Colombo School of Business and Management (CSBM) as the official sponsor for the corporate event ‘Talk of the Month’. This month’s title was ‘Building the Brand Local to Global’. 

The event’s keynote speech was given by Bathiya and Santhush, the legendary musicians who have themselves taken a local brand to the global stage. The Talk of the Month event series is the brainchild of CSBM. It aims to be a platform for mentoring and knowledge sharing, where prominent corporate personalities will share their experience and knowledge with the next generation of executives and management. The personalities will also provide mentoring to the participants.

CSBM is a social enterprise which was established with the patronage of prominent corporate leaders and institutions in Sri Lanka to promote a novelty in the higher education, professional and executive training, career development, research, business support and consultancy. 

CSBM is certificate awarding institution under the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission of Sri Lanka (TVEC) (Amendment) Act No. 50 of 1999. All educational programs offered by CSBM are in compliance with the Sri Lanka Qualification Framework (SLQF).  

MBSL, as a premier financial institution in Sri Lanka, has remained committed to increasing the potential and knowledge of the country’s citizens. With that goal in mind, MBSL invests in sponsoring events that can boost the country’s potential.
