Insurance industry celebrates 3rd annual National Insurance Day

On 1 September the Insurance industry of Sri Lanka gathered together to celebrate the third annual National Insurance Day and the launch of the Insurance Awareness Month campaign. 

Activation programs were carried out in specific locations throughout the country – Galle, Anuradhapura, Colombo, Kandy, Negombo, Trincomalee and Chankani (Jaffna) – organised by the Insurance Association of Sri Lanka, the Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka and the insurance companies of the country. The purpose of these activations was to spread awareness about the importance of Insurance among as many people as possible.
